Bio

Stephen Bolt has a history of success and breaking new ground beginning with his days as a three time NCAA All American in track at the University of Alabama, the first American to break both the 4 minute mile and run a sub 2 hour and 15 minute marathon, and was a member of Nike’s elite racing team, Athletics West. Stephen was inducted into the state of Alabama Sports Hall of Fame in May, 2009. Stephen learned early in his professional life how to utilize his ability to focus and achieve as he became the top producer for a large Lutheran financial services company in 1985. He later went into field management and developed a successful agency of producers. After earning his CFP credentials in 1993, Stephen decided to become independent, producing his own radio program and joining a large broker dealer where he quickly became their top producer and earned Financial Planner of the Year in 1996.

Having worked at the intersection of the financial services industry and the Christian community throughout his career, Stephen became one of the pioneers of what has been termed values-based investing, authoring his first book Money For Life, doing a national media tour which included hundreds of radio programs, speaking engagements, and featured appearances on Bloomberg TV, CNNfn, CBN and regional broadcasts. Stephen has been a featured guest on hundreds of radio programs, as well as an expert resource for numerous publications. His most recent book, Money On Loan From God, is utilized by many financial professionals, as well as consumers as an objective, experienced resource for investing and financial planning. Over the past decade, Stephen has developed relationships with numerous large ministries and has been a featured speaker at a number of events including Promise Keepers, Iron Sharpens Iron, National Coalition of Mens’ Ministries, and In The Zone.

Stephen’s innovations in third party values-based asset management was credited with accumulating over $120 million in assets in less than four years. He has recruited, trained and managed hundreds of successful financial advisors, and served as consultant to numerous projects which include both private and public companies. Stephen has pooled his vast knowledge of – and network in - the financial industry to consult with companies that are interested in developing a process for raising capital within the independent broker dealer market. He has served as a consultant to a $155 million retirement program, helped launch a family of mutual funds, and served as chief manager of two private offerings.

Stephen’s most recent project is titled Recalibrate 2009!, a powerful, but entertaining multi-media workshop designed to help people understand the dramatic recent economic and political changes that are occurring and how to manage a financial plan to achieve life dreams in these unprecedented challenging times.
