Joseph Nsabimbona
Joseph Nsabimbona is an Assistant Pastor and the Communications Director at Church in the City in Denver, Colorado. Joseph was born in Burundi, a small country in central Africa and immigrated to the United States 15 years ago. Before immigrating to the United States, Joseph served in several senior positions in the Burundi Government including Counselor to the Minister of Home Affairs and Chief Administrator Officer in the President's Office. Joseph speaks English, French, Russian, Italian, Kirundi, Swahili and Kinyarwanda. Before becoming a pastor, Joseph worked in the financial industry with Citicorp/Diners Club, Norwest Bank and Wells Fargo Bank. Joseph is married and has 2 children.
Paulette Washington
Paulette Washington serves as Director of Young Adults with The Road To Jerusalem, a non-profit ministry devoted to the reconciliation of gentile and Jewish believers in Messiah. Paulette has a Bachelor's of Science degree in Communications from Fayetteville State University. A teacher by profession, she has a love and compassion for young people of all ages. Paulette has been a keynote speaker for various women conferences, retreats and youth gatherings. Her ministry travels have taken her not only within the United States, but also to Hawaii, South Africa, Israel, Bermuda, Central Africa Republic, Kenya and Puerto Rico. In 1983, she founded "Harvest Ministries," an evangelistic outreach to the poor, oppressed and needy on the Westside of Chicago. Paulette is married and has 8 children.
Michael Walker
Michael Walker is the Senior Pastor of Church In The City, an inner city, multi-racial church in Denver, CO that he founded in 1991. From its beginning, Church In The City has placed a high value on serving the poor and needy with an emphasis on displaying the love of Christ in all areas of ministry. Michael also serves on the board of Somebody Cares Denver, a non-profit ministry devoted to sharing the compassion of Jesus Christ. Michael has been involved in urban ministry for the past 17 years. Michael is married and has 4 children.
Dr. William H Farrar, Jr.
Dr. William H Farrar, Jr. is a part-time gastroenterologist currently practicing with Colorado PermanenteMedical Group in Denver, CO. Dr. Farrar graduated from the University of Kansas Medical School and did his post-doctoral training at Duke University Medical Center and University of Kansas Medical Center. He also served as a lieutenant and general medical officer in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War era. He began his medical practice in Kansas in 1976. While in Kansas, he served the medical community as president of his local hospital staff and later as president of his county medical society. He moved to Colorado in 1981 and served as a full time gastroenterologist with Kaiser Permanente in Denver until 2004 when he retired from full-time medical practice. He has participated in medical missions in Peru and Indonesia and continues to do volunteer medical work.
